Power recovery and tankage are the same as for the Cryo Energy System, but critically the liquefaction is at a different site with tanker delivery as required.
The power recovery element can be similar in operation to a diesel generator (e.g. security of supply unit, back-up generation, peaking, reserve services) but zero emission. We call this a Cryo GenSet.
With the Cryo GenSet, the cold is not recycled, but is available for providing cooling for a co-located process i.e. a data centre. The unit can still harness low-grade waste heat.
