Non-Executive Directors

Niko Elmaleh (since March 2008)
Vice President of World-Wide Holdings Corp. a privately held venture capital investor and real estate developer. A founder member of the Clinton Global Initiative and actively involved with the world-renowned Rocky Mountain Institute, Niko is specifically now developing and managing a portfolio of World-Wide’s assets in green technologies. He joined the Highview Board in March 2008.

Brian Greensmith (since January 2014) 
Brian brings a depth of practical operational experience to the Board, gained from senior roles in oil and gas at ExxonMobil, and power generation at Drax Power including safety, health and environment, engineering and technical support, capital projects, and plant operations and maintenance. Brian led Drax’s Biomass project to transform the 4000MW coal fired power station to predominately biomass and now heads its logistics and optimisation group focused on fuel procurement, delivery and cross functional value.  Brian also sits at the board of Drax Biomass International in Boston, USA as development advisor to their wood pellet plant and port developments.

Nick Woollacott (since January 2014)
Nick has spent most of his career on the commercial side of the energy sector, in international oil, gas and electricity, including senior executive roles at Shell, Southern Electric, British Gas, Transco and Lattice Enterprises.  He has worked closely with central government, leading programmes promoting energy conservation and renewable energy, and a critical appraisal of nuclear economics. Nick has held independent directorships at Enterprise plc, the support services business, and Goldshield plc, a pharmaceutical company, and is currently Senior Independent Director of Sweett Group plc, an AIM listed cost control and project management business in the construction sector.

Vincent Crowley (since January 2016)
Vincent has had extensive executive and non executive experience primarily in media. A chartered accountant, he worked in KPMG and Arthur Andersen before joining Independent News & Media PLC (“INM”) in 1990. He held a variety of roles in INM, including CFO and CEO of APN News & Media (an associated Australian PLC), chief executive of the Irish division of INM and COO and CEO of INM. As CEO of INM, he successfully completed a major divestment programme and restructuring of the group. He retired from INM in May, 2014 and as a non executive director of APN in May, 2015. He is currently chairman of Newsbrands Ireland, non executive director of C&C Group PLC, Chairman of Altas Investments PLC and a non executive director of Inner City Enterprise.
