Highview also owns the Dearman Engine Technology and is developing a piston engine which runs on cryogen, using proprietary, patented technology.
This engine will be ideally suited for smaller gensets (sub 500kW), cars (e.g. 45-50kW power units), vans and inland waterway boats.
The Dearman Engine can also deliver power and cooling (ideal for refrigerated transport) and convert heat (e.g. braking) to power.
The inventor of the Dearman Engine has re-engineered a standard car and achieved speeds in excess of 30mph.
The technology and IP is again wholly-owned by Highview.
